He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Harris; his children, Leisa Burton Harris Edmonds, Alfred Burton Harris, Jr. (Teri Harris), John David Harris Johnson (Tracy Johnson) and Thomas Christopher Harris (Pam Zicafoose); and his siblings, Jackson Harris, Jr., Patsy Owens and Doris Hodges.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
