He was predeceased by: his mothers, Susan Jones and Mary Jones. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones; his children, Derrick (Ramona), Willie "Mel" (LaFaye), Angelia (Gerald), LaTonya (Brian) and Aaron (Dwan); and his grandchildren, Larry and Veronica Player. He is also survived by eleven siblings; nine brothers and two sisters.
