He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Watson, Sr. and Hilda H. Hunt; and his son Larry W. Clarkson. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his sons, William M. "Mel" Watson, III (Kaye) and Chuck Watson; his grandsons, William M. "Sonny" Watson, IV (Tori), Jesse "Tyler" Watson, Bradley A. Watson (Shayla) and Devon F. Watson; his sister Betty J. Brantley; and his brother-in-law Donald R. Brantley. He is also survived by five beautiful great granddaughters.
