He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Luther Walker, Jr. and Kathleen Maddrix Walker; and his son Jason Lake Walker. He is survived by: his wife Ramona DeHart "Mona" Walker; his daughter Nora Walker Marien (Ty); his sister Kathleen "Kay" Gray; and his nieces and nephews, Steve Gray "Lynn" and Robin Snapp. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Baptist Church (235 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A burial will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Albert G. Horton State Veteran's Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
After serving his country with unwavering commitment, he dedicated the next fifty-one years of his life to the Newport News Shipyard, where he honed his skills and made invaluable contributions to the field of Nuclear Planning.
