She is survived by: her daughter Donna Lee McKabney Farrell of Hampton; her granddaughters, Melinda Blythe Farrell Smith (Soren) of Poquoson, Maura Anne Farrell Kelly (James "Jay") of Cincinnati and Rachael Marie Farrell Colella (Nicholas "Nick") of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Ella Elizabeth, Audrey Victoria, Charlotte Reese Smith, James William "Liam", Sloane Elizabeth Kelly, Quinn Alyson and Landon Micah Colella; and her cousin Eileen Lauretta Knight Clarkson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Virginia DAR State Regent's Project, supporting two Virginia organizations dedicated to providing custom trained service dogs free of charge to disabled veterans would be most appreciated.
