It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lucille Whaley Closson of Hampton, Virginia, born in Gloucester, Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rilee and Meredith Rilee; her former husband Johnny Whaley; and her husband Harry B. Closson. She is survived by: her caregivers, Jackie and Cindy West. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
