He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edgar and Gladys Moore Forrest; and his brother Ted Moore Forrest. He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his son Darrin O'Beirne (Susan) of Greenville, NC; his granddaughters, Madeline O'Beirne and Anna O'Beirne; his sister Janice Edwards (Larry) of Sandston, Virginia; and his sister-in-law April Watson Forrest of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
