She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruster Smith and Rachael Smith; her former husband Thomas Clifford Sanders, Sr.; her husband John W. Hill; and her grandsons, Eugene and Ricky Benthall.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla, Thomas Jr., Judy and J. Dave. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
