He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph Harmon and Phyllis Jean McCombs-Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Childress Harmon; his mother-in-law Catherine Ruth Childress; and his stepdaughter Allison Ruth Strickland of Hampton, VA..
