It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen H. Cowles of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cowles and Helen Smith; and his sister Linda Sue Cowles Camuso. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Ammons Cowles; and his sons, Stephen and Michael (Ken).
