She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert McCready and Agnes McCready; and her husband Edward Leon Orie (Cootney). She is survived by: her daughters, Denise "Nise" Orie-Smith (Michael Smith) and Leslie "Nay" Orie; and her grandchildren, Marika Jones, Benicia Roberts (Eric Roberts), Denise Smith (Lil Nisey), Jeronda Wilson and Micheal Smith II (Destiney Smith). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
