She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Furtado and Wilhelmina Furtado; her stepfather Virgil Lamb; and her significant other Tommy (Thomas Calvin Green, Jr.). She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Furtado, Edmund Furtado, Jackie Carvalho, Francis "Buddy" Furtado, Baron Furtado and Damien Lamb; her grandson Davis Green; her siblings, Louis "Butch" Furtado, Therese "Tootsie", John Gravely, Angeline "Angie" Stephens and Bobby; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Green and Judy Keeter; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Matthew, Joey, Amy, Josh, Aggie, Ashley, Adam, Jake, Sarah, Justin, Kim, Bailey, Baker and Grand-Nana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 1021 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA 23666.
