Sallie L. Mitchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie L. Mitchell of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bobby Wallace (Newport News) and Leonard Mitchell (Hampton); her child Donnie Wallace (Hampton); and her grandson Daniel Wallace (Poquoson). She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Atherton (Norfolk), Randy (Virgie), Gerald (Paige) and Kathy Wetzler (Wallace). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Peninsula SPCA, J Clyde Morris Boulevard.
