With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Wyche (Hampton, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hezekiah Howard and Gracie Brown Howard; her husband Paul Wyche; her sister Edith Ann Seay; her aunt Rachel Brown Griffin; her cousin Julia Hudgins; and her niece Claudine Wiggins.
She is survived by: her nieces, Jacquelyn S. McIntosh (Erskine) of Hamden, Valerie S. Wilson (Veasey) of Norfolk, Judy Seay Jones of Yorktown, Jane S. Wimbush (Blair) of Virginia Beach, Francine H. Johnson of Yorktown and Queen Esther Marrow of Newport News, Virginia; and her brother-in-law Edward Wyche of Maryland. She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
