It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royal Peterson (Hampton, Virginia), who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Peterson, Jr. and Lillie Cherry Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Angela Denise Peterson; his daughters, Crystal Simmons (Ravon), Denise Platt (Matt) and Laquitta Edwards (Theo); and his siblings, Wilbert Cherry, Alvin Peterson, Braxton Peterson of Oak City, NC, Darrick Peterson, Patricia Perry (Ernest) of Ahoskie, NC, Edna Peterson of Oak City, NC, Paulette Peterson of Hyattsville, MD and Lisa Brown (William) of Conyers, GA. He is also survived by four sister in laws; six brother in laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
