With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Thomas Austin of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 15, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carroll and Mary Alice Rose Austin of Suffolk, VA. He is survived by: his wife Jane Dennard; his children, Tommy Austin (Karen) of Nags Head, David Austin (Marcia) of Hampton, Jennifer Burgart and Kacie Steinmetz (Matt) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Julie, Tyler (Katie) of Bobbie, TJ, Devin, Nora, Isabelle and Trevor; his great grandchild Jaxon; his brother-in-law Jack Dennard; and his siblings, Marianne DeHart of Burke, VA, William (Pauline) and Evelyn.
Donations may be made in his memory to Hampton Baptist Church or Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
