He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Fitzgerald Sr. and Narcissus C. Jones Fitzgerald; his siblings, Charles Nelson, Slaten, George, Justian Fitzgerald, Lois and Louise Covington; his stepdaughter Minnie B. Brown; and his granddaughter Zina M. Jones.
