She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Henderson and Dollie Henderson; her sister Patricia Moore; her nephew William Murphy; her husband Richard; and also Richard W. Powell.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven E. Powell (Gail) and Michael W. Powell (Kim); and her sister Katie DeMass. She is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
