He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Clayton Wendle Sr.; his wife Anne Elizabeth Wendle of Nottingham, England.; his mother Thelma Irene Wendle; his brother Curtis "Bud" Wendle; and his daughter Sharon Anne Haywood.
He is survived by: his sister Phyllis O'Donnell; his granddaughters, Rikki Leigh Emerson and Tonya Lynn Liscombe; his grandsons-in-law, Michael Emerson and Edward Liscombe; his great grandchildren, Teri Michelle Thorp and Michael Clayton Emerson; his great great grandchildren, Dylan Michael Emerson, Madison Elizabeth Thorp and Riley Sophia Emerson; and also Brian Thorp.
