He was predeceased by: his parents, George Taylor and Myrna Boggs Taylor; his siblings, Versa Culp and Edward Taylor (Bud); and his former wife Carol Lambert Taylor.

He is survived by: his daughter Doreen Taylor Barnett (Orley Johns); his stepdaughter Patrica Rinehart (David); and his grandchildren, Robert, Michael (Tanya), Marcus Barnett (Andrea), Cara Rodrigues (Neil) and Nancie Hill (Shawn). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and many more nieces and nephews.
