He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lowther and Nellie Lowther; and his siblings, Joyce Daniels, Albert Lowther, Butch Lowther and Cindy Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lowther; his children, Richard "Wayne" Lowther (Maxine) and Sandra Strickland (Randy); his siblings, Beverly Sabatula, Judy Wiesen and Bill Lowther; his grandsons, Anthony Lowther and Trent Strickland (Lauren); and his great grandchild Alec Strickland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
