He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sanders Whitaker and T. Bertha. He is survived by: his sister Nola Gardner of Philadelphia; his close friend Sherry Bishop of Newport News; and his goddaughters, Arianna Johnson, Essence, Shakyla and Amir Easterling. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
