She is survived by: her parents, Johnnie Walton and Dorothy Wynder; her husband Clayton "Buck" Watson, Sr.; her children, Quindale Walton, Trumaine Watson (Tanesha), Xavier Watson (Amber), Keyshawn Watson, Clayton Watson, Jr. (Michelle), Cristen Hunter (Billy), Christopher Watson (Ladawn) and Candace Thompson (Gary); her grandchildren, Kanequia Walton, Jase Watson, Xalah Watson, Trumaine Watson, Jr., Sir Watson, Tahj Watson, Sia Watson, Chaniyah Watson, Cameron Watson, Clayton Watson, III, Yamise Watson, Bryce Hunter, Cayden Thompson, Camden Thompson and Brayson Hunter; her great grandchild Kyro Walton; her siblings, Judy Figgs (Charles), Dorlene Walton (Walter), Amy Walton, Timothy Walton (Dorothy), Antonio Walton (Tina), Joanne Bell (Deon), Jeanette Dixon (Aaron), Viola Hughes and Lucinda Emerson; her close friend Cynthia "Cymp" Leonard; her goddaughters, Tawanica Graves, Ciara Drummond, Jalliyah Cannady and Allysea Jhnae Thompson; her aunt Rosa Wynder; her mother-in-law Sarah Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Cooper (Samuel), Darryl Watson, Sr. (Matilda) and Barren Watson (Tamara). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, Howmet Aerospace family, extended family from Kannapolis, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the African Baptist Church (4224 Sunnyside Rd, Cape Charles, VA 23316). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the African Baptist Church Cemetery (4224 Sunnyside Rd, Cape Charles, VA 23316).
