He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Stuart Gibson and Elizabeth Gibson; his siblings, Stuart Jr., Muggy, Donnie, Pat, Joan and Jean; his daughter Rose; and his daughter-in-law Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Gibson, Jr., Donnie Gibson (Lisa), Alan Gibson and Becky Bolte (Steve); and his grandchildren, Julia (Aaron), Philip, Yvonne, Mary, Nathan, Athena, Luke, Liese, Joshua and Daphne.
