It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Percy Melvin Edwards (Hampton, Virginia), born in Buckingham, Virginia, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy S. Edwards and Danie Shumaker Edwards; and his siblings, Hilda Tall (Charles), Shirley Watkins (Billy) and Danny Edwards Sr..
He is survived by: his sister Georgene Huggett (Mooney); his children, Jenny Edwards and Russell Edwards (Stephany); his grandsons, Travis, Jesse and Sammy Edwards; his sister-in-law Dianna Edwards; the mother of his children Helen Earehart; and also, Dennis and Traci. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
