She was predeceased by: her husband Grover Keefer Jr.; her parents, Carlyle Proffitt and Mable Proffitt; and her brother Bobby Gene Proffitt. She is survived by: her children, Danny Carlyle Corliss, Brian Harvey Keefer, Bruce Wayne Keefer (Liz), Barbara Ann Christiansen (Chris) and Tammy Lynn Warren (Jeff); her grandchildren, Daniel "Danny" Ray Corliss, Michael Ryan Vaughn, Mark W. Christiansen, Jennifer Leigh Strickland, Gabrielle Ann Warren, Brett Wayne Keefer and Evan Sean Keefer; her siblings, Mary Lou Conklin (Bruce) and Don Wayne Proffitt of North Carolina; and her friend Sunday Ivey. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
