It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan J. Perry of Hampton, Virginia, born in Williamston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his parents, Nathan Thomas and Annie Bell Perry; and his siblings, Robert Perry, Gerald Perry, Estelle Rios, Velma Hardison, Marie Hardison, Gladys Wilson and Annie Lee Gurganus.
He is survived by: his son Jim (Cindi); his grandchildren, James and Kristin; and his siblings, Viola Hollis, Gaynell Howell, Eula Gardner (Freddie), Faye Barber (Jerry) and N. S. Perry (Thelma).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to a favorite charity.
