He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Wilson and Martha Louise Grant; and his daughter Turisha Grant. He is survived by: his wife Alice Grant; and his children, Sabrina Embrack (Bowie, MD), Joylyn Grant (Hampton) and Merriel Grant, Jr. (Hampton). He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of extended family and lifelong friends.
