He is survived by: his parents, Lorenzo Carter and Betty Carter; his wife Felecia Thompson; his daughter Virginia; his grandson Jace Carter; his children, Tarnisha Carter, Justin Carter and Tre'Anderson Davis; and his siblings, Lorenzo "Jupon" Carter and Sinita Carter Brown (Bernard).
