He was predeceased by: his father Leo M. Vernon. He is survived by: his mother Ethel M. Vernon of Williamsburg; and his siblings, Inocencia Brown of New York, Lisa Vernon Sparks of York County, June of California, Virgil Vernon of New York and Carlos Vernon of New Jersey. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, including his companion.
