She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Rose and Eula Rose; and her siblings, Mae Robbins and JD Rose. She is survived by: her husband Donald Stokes (Don); her brother Fonza Lee Rose (Hank); and her children, Jean Thomas (David), Donna Baker (late Donald), Donald Stokes Jr. (Lisa), Denise Bailey (Tim) and Colinda Josefowicz (Tony). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
