With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie G. Hare of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie G. Hare to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Odie; and her siblings, Iva Dunlap, Luther, Carley, Charlie, Lenny, Otis and Billy Garner.
She is survived by: her sons, Dana Hare (Carol) and Dara Hare (Laura); her brother Robert Garner (Mae); her grandchildren, Travis, Kristin, Aaron, Michelle, Ian, Jessi, Kelly and Jesse; and her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Colin, Dalton, Lena, Ellie, Gunner and Nora. She is also survived by extended family members and all of her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in her memory to Pine Chapel Baptist Church, 1544 West Queen Street, Hampton, VA 23669.
