It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret L. Kernel of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Lawson and Samuel Legg; her husband Raymond Kernel; and her sisters, Verbie Ailshire, Vida Williams and Evelyn Peters.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Kernel Rowe (Jesse); her sister Helena Cooper; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rowe (Brenda) and Jenny Rowe Huisenga (David); her great grandchildren, Wesley Hughes, Justin Huisenga, Shelby Rowe Buel (Caleb), Amber Huisenga, Brooke Rowe and Jessica Huisenga; and her great great grandchild Zachary Levi Buel.
