It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcellous Sawyer (Hampton, Virginia), who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Sawyer; his sons, Kenneth "Jake" Thomas of Gloucester, VA, Lil Mark Sawyer (Tammy) of Corinth, TX and Marshall Sawyer (Cassie) of Poquoson, VA; his grandchildren, Trey (Ginger Kuykendall), Michelle (Eric Kennedy), Haylie (Chris Edwards) and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Liam, Halle and Carson; and his siblings, Carl, Paul (Ruth Ann), Jesse, Kelly (Fran), Kenneth (Hae Sun), Howard (Jane), Merle, Pearl, Clara Ruth and Carolyn (Tommy). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
