With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Lee Hoover of Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Col. R. Jack Hoover; her daughter Lana Hollingsworth; her sisters, Kathryn Eisner and Geraldine Sharman; and her grandson William Hollingsworth III.

She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Sue Butti, Patricia Ann Hoover and Corey M. Hoover; and her granddaughters, Melinda Hollingsworth and Kathryn Stacey Butti. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
