She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen B. Elkins Sr. and Marjorie Edwards; her husband Richard S. Minnick Jr.; and her brothers, Stephen B Elkins Jr. and Paul W. Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Richard S. Minnick, Cynthia R. McCoy (Michael) of Cedar Creek, TX, Christopher D. Minnick of Hampton, Jennifer L. Ball (Harry) of Hampton and Kathrine E. M. Littles (Tony) of Newport News; her sister Cheryl L. Elkins of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica (Davidde), Andrew, Marissa, Sean, Eric (Brittany), Rebecca (Kenny), Noah, Jacob (Abigail), Griffin, Sophia and Kyli; her great grandchildren, Aspen, Claire, Connor and Dwyn; and her friends, Kathrine and Tony Littles. She is also survived by 5 children, and a grandmother known as Ninna to 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
