She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Whitney (Lucy Davis Whitney) and Lucy; her daughter Cheryl Williams-Clements; her siblings, John Whitney, James "Kenney" Whitney, Clarence Whitney, Joseph Whitney, Albert "Sidney" Whitney, Clyde Whitney, Claudia Artis, Blanch Edley and Dolly Hicks; and her friend Clyde Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Jordan (Harold), Sonja Williams-Graves (Anthony) and Willie Whitney (Angela); her siblings, Joyce Winfield, Louise Conley and Marvin Whitney (Jurline); her sister-in-law Bea Whitney; and her grandchildren, Keith Whitney (Katie), Whitney Jordan Rosier (Christopher), Mackenzie Jordan Johnson (Josiah), Patrick Whitney, Jeri Williams Lawson (Justin), Anthony Graves Jr., Michael Clements and Nikalas Graves. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
