He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Ensley and Zella S. Ensley; and his wife Ruby D. Ensley. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Ensley Scheck (Tony); his stepchildren, Jones (J. P.) and Tollie R. Morris III (Rhonda); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler and Ryan Scheck.
