She is survived by: her sons, Sterling L. Godfrey of Washington, DC and Clark O. Godfrey of Newport News, VA.; her grandchildren, Anita Jeter-Peterkin, Don Godfrey (Kristi) and Niko Godfrey-Bommer (Nick); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Billups. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
