She was predeceased by: her parents, Naomi Whitaker and Joseph Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Dolphine Cooper, Pierre Stanford and Wanda Stanford; her grandchildren, Russell, Tehran Freeman, Rachanda Earskin, Hadiyah Coates, Petros and Phoebe Stanford; and her siblings, Ulysses Whitaker and Sarah Carter. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
