With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorita Lewis Lupton of Hampton, Virginia, born in Aurora, North Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyman Lewis and Hazel Willis Lewis; and her brother Willis Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Brian Lupton; her children, David Lupton (Sara), Karen Cannon (Jeff) and Kenny Lupton; her siblings, Lois Sadler (Frank) and Malcolm Lewis (Kathy); her sister-in-law Faye Lewis; her grandchildren, Joshua Murray (Amber), Michael Lupton (Nena), Amber Paxton (Drew), Ben Murray and Andrew Murray (Cassie); her great grandchildren, Charleigh Lupton, Lorita Joanne Murray, Crystaleigh Lupton, Callan Murray, Sean Murray, Rosalind Murray, Declan Paxton and Sophia Murray; and her pet Molly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to Parkinson's Foundation (parkinson.org) or St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 99 E. Mercury Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669 in Lorita's name.
