She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kole and Henrietta Kole; her husband Gerhardt; her son Gary Schroeder; and her brothers, Melvin and Jim Kole.
She is survived by: her friends, Jean and Lenore Ripzinski; her children, Vicki (J. Barton Weakley), Donna (Michael Lawing) and Douglas Schroeder; her grandchildren, Amy Lawing, Christopher Weakley (Elizabeth), Mikey Lawing, Noel Weakley and Jordan Lawing; her great grandchild Lena Koogler; and her brother David Kole (Donna).
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family service at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666.
Donations in Lois' name can be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, or St. Mark's Lutheran Church in York County.
