She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall McCarter and Doris Ann Lyles McCarter; and her siblings, Margie Craig, Mildred, Glenda McCarter, Hardy, Robert, Marshall Allen, Roosevelt and Johnny.
She is survived by: her husband Earnest O. Harding; her son John Charles Jones (Mona) of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Cassandra (Hampton), Brandon (Chesapeake), Antonio (Melissa), Renita and Anthony (Chesapeake); and her sisters, Edna Turner (Charlie), Doris White, Laverne Barnes and Cleotha Garrett (Paul). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Loester was unequivocally blessed and purposed to be the foundation and mainstay for her parents, sisters, brothers, and extended family that included hundreds of people.
