With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Hicks Jr. (Hampton, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lloyd Hicks Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene M. Beale-Slade and Lloyd Hicks Sr. (LC); his grandparents, Myrtle Beale and Luther Beale Sr.; and his aunts, Diane and Mildred Beale.
He is survived by: his aunts, Emma Beale of Mufreesboro, N. C., Louise Rucker of Mufreesboro, N. C., Christine Beale-Stefanelli of Mufreesboro, N. C., Darlene Beale of Mufreesboro, N. C. and Mary Beale of Milwaukee, Wis.; and his uncle Luther Beale Jr. of Mufreesboro, N. C.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (1415 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA 23666-5326). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Carver Park Cemetery.
