He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sessoms and Cora Sessoms; his wife Bernice Winborne Sessoms; his siblings, Clifton, Mildred, Annie, Bessie, Wayland, Velma and Joyce; and his daughter Deryl L. Sessoms.
He is survived by: his sons, Andre Sessoms (Robyn) of Jacksonville and Derrick Sessoms of Newport News; his granddaughters, Jessika Sessoms and Janelle Sessoms of Jacksonville, Florida; and his sister Helen Artis (Lee). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, extended church family and friends.
