He is survived by: his former wife Ethel Louise Rivers; his son Michael Eugene Wesson of Newport News, VA; his wife Delphine Wells Wesson; his daughter Debra Wesson Meekins of Hampton, VA; his sisters, Laura Johnson, Willie Bea Mays (William), Olivia Hicks and Della Doswell; his grandchildren, Katrina McCloud, Eboni Richardson (Melvin), Veronica Wesson, Lela Meekins, Michael Wesson, II (Amanda) and Cecial Wyrick (Alissa); his great grandchild Vincent; and his grandchild Kim Jones of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; adopted son.
