He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Wardrett and Fannie Solomon Wardrett of Louisburg, NC.; and his brothers, Alfred L. Wardrett (Maxine), Robert Gray, James E. Wardrett and Alexander Wardrett (Delores).
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Wardrett; his children, Anthony Wardrett (Keona), April Wardrett (Joel), Leroy Bradley and Dyan Bradley; his grandchildren, Anthony Chavez Wardrett, Arriell Leon Wardrett, Ava Naomi Wardrett, Leroy Bradley, Armond Bradley and Lorenzo Bradley; his great grandchildren, Kameron Chavez Wardrett and Ayaan Joseph Bradley; and his siblings, Ethel Y. Seawright, Christine L. Jones, Anita Browning (Silvester), Andrew Wardrett (Sharon), William J. Wardrett (Irene) and Jesse "Eckey" Gray (Donna). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
