He was predeceased by: his son Leroy James Shifflett. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Shifflett; his daughters, Linda Gainer, Diane Craft, Donna Shifflett and Cheryl Kaiser; and his brother Reece Shifflett of Dillwyn. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
