He is survived by: his sister Shirley Bryant; his children, Lisa Artis, Risa Artis Cheatham of Hampton, Gregory Patterson of Houston and Pamela Harris of Portsmouth, VA; and his grandchildren, Shamica Artis, Chauncey Artis, Kareem Artis, Todd Cheatham, Marquel Cheatham (Madelyn), Michaela McGee (Lamont), Mya Taswell, Chasity Patterson, Destiny Patterson, Makayla Patterson, Gregory Patterson, Jr., Yasmin Patterson and Nikaila Harris.
