He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mae and Major Jones; and his brothers, John Jacobs, Linwood Jones and Simon Jones.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Barbara Jones-Moore; his children, Marcus Jones (Tameka), Laceena Brown (Anthony) and Leo Jones Jr. (Tammi); his brother Fermund Jones; his grandchildren, Dontre, Takerra, Miracle, Tyrik, Davon, Da'Karai, Malachi, Anaya, Samaya and Jordyn; and his great grandchild Milo.
